NOAA Fisheries

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) dedicated to the stewardship of living marine resources through science-based conservation and management, and the promotion of healthy ecosystems. Fisheries and Oceans Canada

We protect and conserve marine and freshwater habitat, establish fishery management plans, develop conservation and protection policies and implement programs to provide for the sustainable use of Canada's marine resources. DFO provides leadership on the development and implementation of an Oceans Management Strategy and a national system of marine protected areas, integrated coastal zone management and marine environmental quality programs.

ShipCom is uniquely qualified and equipped to communicate with commercial vessels on the high seas using almost any communications mode available to the modern mariner. ShipCom, L.L.C. has been designated as the official "Reporting Office" for Albacore Tuna Fishing Vessel Hail-In Reports by both Canadian and United States Authorities.
